USB_Dewpoint is a new way to answer humidity issues!

First it calculates in real time the dewpoint, thanks to ambient humidity probe close to your instrument. It also connects to 2 external temperature probes (attached to tube or mirrors) and compares these temperatures to the dewpoint. If temperatures are too close to the dewpoint, it heats in a smooth or aggressive manner. We can also call it a heating regulator. Second, if no heat required, USB_Dewpoint only uses 0.05 W to run. It connects to computer USB (or HUB 2.0 / 1.1) to operate remotely and can be operated manually or autonomously. It handles 3 outputs for heaters or any 12 V DC powered equipment (flat box, fans, ..) with 3x 24W output power.

Advantages and features at a glance:

  • Manual mode enables remote controlling/tracking using dedicated USB_TelescopeController software (and remote control through Wi-Fi)
  • All outputs uses high speed MOSFET transistors, NO energy waste
  • All outputs independently protected with fuses
  • Output 2 can be mirrored with output 3, to double available power
  • Output 3 (if not mirrored with output 2) can be used to remotely manage cooling fans
